I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in June 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Ethnic Studies. I have a passion for storytelling that amplifies underrepresented voices and explores critical social and environmental issues.
Since graduating, I’ve worked as a freelancer in both the news and book publishing industries, building experience while giving myself the flexibility to travel and gain meaningful life lessons outside the scope of work and school.
During my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a staff reporter for Mustang News, a stringer for the Central Coast's NPR-affiliate radio station, a freelance copyeditor and a news intern at KSBY-TV, gaining experience across reporting, editing, and broadcast production. When I’m not chasing stories, I'm consuming them.
Now, I’m actively seeking a role where I can bring my curiosity, empathy, and dedication to truth to a media organization in service of a more informed, intelligent world.
